‘For this month, we’re focusing on the thigh, this is a simple stretch to relieve tension and improve your flexibility. We don’t do it enough when you really need to!
This is a standing stretch, we’re going to stretch the front of your thigh. To start with stand by a wall or chair so you have something to hold on to if needed.
Starting on the right side, lift your right leg bending your knee and grab your right ankle with your right hand, you’re aiming to get your knee to the floor, keep your right knee close to your left, make sure your knee isn’t going out to the side and bring your ankle as close to your bum as you can get it. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds or more and then repeat on the other side with your left hand and ankle.’
