This month’s stretch is with Adrian and it’s a three-part-er!
1. Start in a neutral seated or standing position, lean your head either to the left of the right, when you start to feel that bind, hold it there.
2. The next part of the stretch is back in neutral, tilt your head up towards the sky, look for the sunny clouds (although this is England so they might be grey!) When you feel the bind hold it there, make sure you’re breathing in and out steadily as you go.
3. If you want to advance the stretch take the palm of your hands or your fists and then push up underneath your chin and hold it there.
4. Another option is, again back to neutral, turn your head to the left or right on a slight angle and tilt your chin to your chest towards the deltoid, and then you take the opposite hand and place it at the back of the scull and gently pull down you’ll feel a nice stretch.
We recommend holding these stretches for a minute or two to get the most benefit. When you’re done on one side, remember to switch to the other.
