It’s time for another Stretch of the Month, hosted this time by Adrian. This stretch, Cat Cow, is good for those who suffer from back pain, it also helps to increase flexibility in the spine and can improve posture.
This stretch is performed on the floor, start by placing both hands and knees on the floor, keep your hands shoulder width apart and your knees directly below the hips
While curving your lower back, bringing your head up, tilt your pelvis up like a cow then exhale deeply.
Bring in your abdomen and arch your spine, whilst bringing your head and pelvis down like a cat, nice and slowly, and take deep breaths as you do so.
Repeat as many times as you feel comfortable and relax your way into the movement.
