Touch Tuina have been in partnership with Haringey Borough Women’s FC for 2 seasons now, both sponsoring them and helping to keep them injury-free and fit. Helping people to excel in their chosen sports is something we’re really passionate about and we’re incredibly happy to see that the team has been doing so well in the Eastern Region Premier League.
The Haringey Borough Women’s team was formed at the start of season 1999/2000 and played only occasional ‘friendlies’ in that first season. In the summer of 2000 it then merged with Mill Hill United, at that time effectively a feeder team of National League side Wembley Mill Hill. Wembley Mill Hill had itself operated under the name of Mill Hill United from 1983 to 1997 and had been accepted into Division 2 of the Eastern Region League for season 1999/2000. They gained promotion to Division 1 as runners-up to Saffron Walden Town while based at the rather bleak Donkey Lane Playing Fields in Enfield.
This is what the team had to say –
‘Thanks Touch Tuina for supporting us all of last season 2022-23, providing rehabilitation and medical treatment for all of our players. As a result of what you’ve done for us we’ve been able to be so much fitter for the whole season, and we’re really grateful for the support that you’ve given.
It’s really important that people understand the benefits of geting regular Tuina treatment, whether they’re injured or whether they’re not, to make sure they stay in tip top condition so that they can perform to their best on Sunday. Thanks very much!’
